There are many suppliers of fences and gates on the Swedish market, but only ABAS Protect develops and manufactures gates in Sweden for Swedish conditions.
ABAS Protect conducts systematic development work where we carry out all steps from idea to finished product in-house. Based on requirements and wishes, product ideas are created and transformed into concepts. The concepts are further developed and solution principles are developed. Principle solutions are realised during the detailed design phase.
We use modern design tools for modelling and analysis. All mechanical parts are solid modelled. Both static and dynamic loads are determined, and FEM and/or structural calculations are performed on exposed parts.
Prototypes are built and tested under real conditions in the Swedish climate with rain, humidity and cold, which differ sharply from central and southern European conditions. In Nordic conditions, a much greater durability is required in the products with regard to corrosion, tightness and more.
