ABAS Protect offers a complete range of industrial fencing (chain link fencing) from its own production. Chain link has been the basis of ABAS Protect’s production of fencing systems since 1925, with applications for industry, residential, and nurseries, as well as special fencing.

The Swedish standard for industry is 2-meter-high chain link with a mesh size of 50 x 50 mm and 3 mm steel wire. As an anti-climb protection, there are three rows of barbed wire on top of the fence, which is what the Swedish Insurance Federation recommends in its Rules for Mechanical Burglary Protection SSF 200:4.

Fence mesh is manufactured in heights from 600 mm to 4000 mm, with mesh sizes from 20 x 20 mm to 60 x 60 mm and wire dimensions from 2.5 mm to 4.0 mm (2.5; 2.7 Norwegian standard; 3.0; 3.5; 4.0 mm).

To ensure a long service life, the fencing wire is galvanized or, alternatively, galvanized and sintered. The coating is of the highest quality and durability, and is chemically bonded to the steel wire.

Fence posts are made of fully welded steel pipes in dimensions 50 x 50 mm, 60 x 60 mm and Ø 44 x 1.5 mm. All posts are hot-dip galvanized or sendzimir galvanized with powder coating, which gives ABAS Protect’s products the ability to withstand high stresses in the form of side loads and, not least, climate impact.

Braces/struts in Ø 44 x 1.5 mm pipe, in length 3500 mm. The struts are “flattened” at one end and are preferably mounted together with a strut sleeve to avoid casting. Standard colors in addition to hot-dip galvanized are dark green (RAL 6005), olive green (RAL 6003), and black (RAL 9005).
